I’m sure most of you know, but this is my last year at Smith. I’m moving to Washington DC to try my hand at teaching in a different environment. This year has been extremely special to me and this is a class I will have a hard time forgetting.
We were able to visit the Army Aviation Support Center on Friday! The kids were able to check out some of the support and medical helicopters and even climb inside of the enormous Chinook.
We drew faces in the style of Picasso, I think they turned out great!
We spent the past few days studying the organs of the body, what they do and what would happen to us if they suddenly vanished.
To celebrate Star Wars day, we studied the music and instruments that make up the iconic soundtrack. Violins, kettle drums, trombones and harps make up the orchestra used by John Williams, each setting their own unique mood.
