We recently bought a few new board games for Christmas, and Coloretto was the best bang for the buck. It has color matching and a push your luck mechanic, and it plays really quickly. It’s been a big hit here.
Rules: Players either place a card in a set, or grab a set. Go until the deck is empty, count up points. Bigger color sets get more points.
Cost: $8 on Amazon.
Time: 20 minutes.
Modifications for Kindergarteners: None.
Can it be played if pieces go missing: If you lose a few cards you’ll still be ok, depending on the cards that go missing.
Is this a game only kids would like: I think this is a fun, light game that would be fun with adults, but I think it really shines with kids.
