Martin Luther King
Today we talked about Martin Luther King, Jr. He spent his life advocating for equality between races, and paid for it with his life. My students didn’t really understand the idea of separating people by the color of their skin, something that was only removed fairly recently in our country’s history. We still have a long way to go.
Imaginary friends may help children later in life
Have you ever talked yourself through solving a problem? Well it turns out that the Journal of Experimental Child Psychology released a study showing that children who have imaginary friends can use the skills of having an inner dialogue later in life to solve complicated problems in the same way.
